AP testing takes place during the month of May. Here’s what to do before, during, and after your AP exam.

πŸŽ“ BEFORE AP Exam Day: Get Ready

  • Double-check your College Board account to make sure you're registered for all the AP exams you plan to take.
  • If your exam is Hybrid or Digital (most exams), check that the Bluebook App has been added to your Chromebook.
  • Explore the Bluebook App so you're familiar with the features. Make sure you know how to log in β€” you cannot use your phone to reset your password during testing.

  • Morning Exams: Check-in at 7:30 AM
  • Afternoon Exams: Check-in at 11:30 AM

🚫 What NOT to Bring

These items are strictly prohibited and may result in score cancellation:

  • Phones, smartwatches, AirPods
  • Styluses or digital pens
  • Books, notebooks, highlighters
  • Mechanical pencils or colored pencils
  • Scratch paper (school will provide)
  • Food or drinks
  • Hats/hoods (except religious/medical)
  • Headphones or earplugs
  • Clipboards or external monitors

⚠ Only College Board–approved SSD accommodations may alter what you can bring.

⚠ Important Reminders

  • No early dismissals β€” AP exams take about 4 hours.
  • Inform coaches/employers ahead of time β€” AP testing takes priority.
  • All misconduct will be reported and may cancel scores.

🚫 What NOT to Do After Your Exam:

  • ❌ Do NOT discuss multiple-choice questions β€” ever.
  • ❌ Do NOT post anything online related to the exam.
  • ❌ Do NOT take photos in the testing room.
  • ❌ Do NOT leave early without permission.
  • ❌ Do NOT share details with students who test later.

  • Relax β€” you did it!
  • Stay humble β€” no oversharing.
  • Rest up if you have more exams.
  • Check with teachers if you’re unsure what’s allowed.

Your AP scores are valuable β€” protect them by following all rules.
