• Policies:
  • Tardy: 1–29 minutes late (K code)
  • 30+ minutes late = Unexcused absence
  • A code becomes U code if not excused within 1 week
  • 3 unexcused OR 5 excused = truancy letter
  • After 14 illness absences → doctor’s note required
• SART/SARB: SART builds a school support plan. SARB is a district-level intervention when attendance does not improve. Chronic absence = 10% of school days missed.
