Attach any doctor or parent notes directly to your email. The sooner we know, the better we can support your student.

Timelines
- 3 total days absent: District sends an excessive absence letter.

When is a doctor’s note needed?
- If your student is out 3 consecutive school days, please provide a doctor’s note upon return.
- After 14 total illness days, additional illness absences will be coded unexcused without a doctor’s note.
How to submit: Email notes to sahs.attendance@sausdlearns.net (attachments welcome) or bring a hard copy to the Attendance Office.
